The heart behind K.E.B.

Kimberly Mae Photography

Hi, I’m Katheryn — the artist and personality behind K.E.B. artistry. I’m married to my high-school sweetheart and we have two little boys, which means my world is beautifully chaotic and full of purpose. I didn’t take a straight path to makeup artistry. I went to school for an array of different things, trying to find what truly lit me up. I landed on American Sign Language interpreting, and it completely stole my heart. ASL taught me how to listen beyond words, read energy, and understand people on a deeper level — the same qualities that make this work so personal to me. Makeup became the creative extension of that — a way to communicate beauty, confidence, and love without saying anything at all. This field allows me to blend all the parts of who I am: the nurturer, the steady presence, and the entertainer at heart (hello, social media goofball). Every brushstroke is an act of service and being able to make women fall in love with themselves through artistry is both a privilege and a calling.

Values

I believe luxury isn’t loud — it’s calm, intentional, and deeply personal. My brides don’t just want to look beautiful; they want to feel present in every moment of their morning. Connection comes first, always. I take time to understand your personality, your favorite features, and any parts of you that haven’t learned to love yet. . By the time I pick up a brush, we’re already in sync — and that connection shows in every photo. I want you to look in the mirror and feel seen, not “styled.”

My approach is calm, collaborative, and rooted in trust. You bring your vision; I bring my eye, experience, and intuition — and together we shape a look that feels like you— just bridal. It’s a blend of your style and my artistry, meeting in the middle to create something you instantly recognize as yours.

Fun facts:

“If I could describe Katheryn in one word…”

I asked my past brides to describe me in one word — and I was overwhelmed with gratitude reading their answers. Some reflected who I am as a person, others described my artistry or the experience as a whole. But together, they reminded me of something bigger: what a privilege it is to be invited into such a personal, once-in-a-lifetime morning.
